Excellent food and services. I booked in advance and choose table near window so can see amazing view. Stir fried beef is really tasty. BBQ pork and crispy pork also good. All dishes are above average. Restaurant is located on 5th floor of the building.

I was looking for a chinese restaurant and stumbled on this quite by accident. I think we were the scruffiest pair in there after a few weeks of travelling but we were so glad we stayed. The staff were polite and gracious; the restaurant is beautiful and we ate the most delicious dim sum with regularly topped up jasmine tea. We had the shrimp and dried scallop rice which was the best fried rice I have ever had and a selection of dumplings. I think my favourite was the purple mushroom and truffle one but it was hard to choose as they were all just outstanding. The prawns were really tasty and the pork buns were slightly sweet on the outside and delicious braised pork on the inside. There was a chap making sugar work at the door - what an artist. I highly recommend this restaurant. I would dress a bit smarter if we went again 😂

Haven’t been to the building since 2019. Went with a ground of international visitors recently. No impressed by the food offering nor service standard. The building is still beautiful. Parking is a big issue in the area. Have to arrange drop off and pick up on time. We sat in a large room, river view is nice. A bit autumn river breeze was refreshing. Food wise, the menu is not totally Cantonese. Dishes mixed cuisines from other provinces, some dishes lack of fine Cantonese interpretation and elegant presentation. In general, serve standard lack attention to details. There was a full round table. People’s plates were not changed on time. Had to call service to split large portion dishes for everyone. Food was serviced at all directions, even dropped food twice on guests. For a highly promoted restaurant and considerate the price per head, not worth the experience.

One of the best dinners I've had in my life. The historic building & the vintage Shanghai interior design made the Michelin-starred dinner even more exceptional. I fully recommend the salt-baked flambed chicken. Not just for the flambe spectacle, but for the amazing flavor. The MB6+ blackpepper beef with cashew was also memorable. My dinner for two (no alcohol) costs CNY 1998. I emailed the restaurant for reservation. It was quite empty when I came on a Monday night.
