Woohoo! The best cake shop in Hong Kong. I’ve been coming here for over a decade and still love it every time. They also serve the best scones in town — with their signature rose petals jam, a must try! You can also try their famous cream horn or the cheesecake. The coffee is good, and Earl Grey is excellent. A must ✨
We loved every dessert we tried, some of the best cakes we’ve had in Hong Kong. Stavros, who served us, was super professional. We totally recommend this place.
Typically service and staff are nice and polite, but not today. I came in to get some take away desserts through the line for queuing, there was just one person ahead of me who seemed to have just finished ordering and was waiting for the order. I moved to the front of the line ( with no one behind me and no one ahead of me at this moment) and nodded the staff (a woman with glasses) and she nodded back and I waited for a bit before she came to the counter to ask for my order. At this point, there was a white woman who just came in to the end of the queuing line (while I was still at the front of the line and with no one in between us) and at this point, the staff asked me if I had queued. She made me to explain that I also came from the end of the line and moved up to the front. So I had to ask her why did she just assume that I jumped the queue? (Typically for other times I was here, the staff would ask who is next, but not “if you had queued”?!) Why didn’t she ask me when she came to ask for my order and only asked when she noticed the white woman behind me came to queue? I asked if she only asked me if I had queued coz there was a white woman behind me waiting and she naturally had denied this. The cake shop manager also said that their staff didn’t mean to be racist. But what happened is what happened and I don’t know your staff enough to know if they are racists are not (and this is not something the shop manager can guarantee for). Please train your staff well before they are allowed to serve customers and please be mindful of the way they talk to customers. Not pleasant at all.
Hailey and her colleagues were wonderful. They went out of their way to help on the choice of Christmas hampers and their delivery including the addition of items not included in the hamper selected by me and I was really impressed by their terrific service and support. I highly recommend them.
