Amazing atmosphere. Really wonderful food and great service. We took the discovery menu served in 7 sets of meals. The signature fried rice is mouthwatering so are the other sides like the Dim Sum and the roast pork and especially the roast duck. Thank you to the chefs and the great team.
Only Chinese restaurant in France with a Michelin star so we had to try it out. The starters were delicious. As main we took Peking duck but the take on the meat was not what I expected… I couldn’t taste the duck flavour anymore so would have preferred the original way. Especially since we took the aubergine platter with it which had a similar taste so hard to distinguish the two dishes… However, overall good atmosphere and there was also a live traditional Chinese musician
Shangri-La's Chinese restaurant is always reliable worldwide. The Shenzhen one is close to the Luohu gate and railway station. Decor is cozy and spacious. Menu is extensive with quite a lot to choose from. Food is solid. Yam with strawberry sauce is a refreshing starter. Shrimps and abalone is tasty and beautiful. Fried duckling is crispy outside and succulent inside. Radish pastries is some of the best in town. Service, however, is mediocre at best. Staff is inattentive and looks unpassionate. Actually it is quite difficult to find one. With an upscale price range, Shang Palace should deliver more.
Excellent Cantonese Dim Sun and waiters very helpful with choices on menu, portions are generous so don’t over order, both english and chinese menu available
