It's always a good experience and fulfilling (literally) at haidilao. The price is very reasonable compared to back home. The best thing about China is you can order drinks from shops outside and have them delivered to your table like with foodora Uber eats etc. next time I'll try buying a mobile phone and get it delivered to my table. The sky is the limit !! I used the ele.me app but the other ones work all the same. The face changing act was awesome as usual but as a bonus the guy here gives out little face toys that the kids were over the moon about !
Extremely long wait hour (3.5 hours). Great service offered all time even waiting time, food is good. Not pricy.

Food was so so and normal. Nothing to shout about. Service on the surface was top notch, but 2 incidents proved otherwise during my first visit here. I arrived in a weekday afternoon and was asked to take a seat and wait. After more than 30mins and noticed many other customers who came later had gotten their seats, I politely asked the staff. They told me its not my turn yet. I waited for another 20mins, saw many others arrived later but gotten their seats and was puzzled. I approached the staff and again, told me I have to wait. Decided to go off instead but suddenly, they came to stop us and immediately said my seats are available. After my meals, I paid using my credit card. After 2 unsuccessful attempts, the staff was visibly displeased. I took initiative and told her my card has no problem cos I just paid it with my merchandise an hour ago. Overall experience was bad. Will not step in again.
