This restaurant definitely has some good points: the food is tasty and well-presented, and the portions are adequate. In addition, it is not as expensive as other places in the area. However, there are some aspects which definitely need improving urgently: the waitress/owner, while very pleasant with us in person, can be dismissive and even rude by phone (as proven when we booked a table for two people, which almost led to an argument). She also manages the entire dining room alone, tending to tables, the phone and take-away orders by herself. Surprisingly, the menu is very long, which in such a limited space with so few staff members makes me wonder whether they would not cope better by reducing the number of menu options. In consequence, the service is painfully slow, and the staff are well aware of it; it took about 45 minutes for us to get two starters, and another 45 minutes to get two main courses. In all, we were in the restaurant for 2:20 hours (the couple next to our table arrived about half an hour after us, and only got their food served just as we were leaving). In view of the good points mentioned above, I would like to return, but only when the slowness of the service has been addressed. As it is, I will probably not return any time soon.
The restaurant is sparcely decorated and offers a calm and minimalist vibe, it is also very clean. The food is excellent, menu is exhaustive and suits most tastes. Prices are average, great experience both as walk-ins and takeaway customers. Highly recommended...
