If you are in Nanjing and want to eat similar to Italian, you will be fine. And you will find other Italians!
Ordered the pear and gorgonzola salad which the presentation deeds looking at as the flavours were good but presentation was poor. Had the chicken masala which looked good but after tasting it, was look warm. Sent it back they said they would cook a fresh one. Second one came and the only thing was hot was the sauce over the other items which were all look warm. The manager came over and explained that the kitchen had just put hot sauce all over look warm pasta chicken and vegetables. I asked for the cheque, the server then came over and said that I won’t be charged for my main meal !!!! That’s great as did not eat it, paid for starter and wine. Stay at this hotel every year but won’t use this restaurant!!!
Here with my peer group for dinner. Everything was very good. We had a special menu with limited options for the group but worked out well. This is a steakhouse put does not have the high-end pomp and circumstance you may be used to which is somewhat refreshing. My filet was done very good and those in my party were happy with their steaks as well. Service was great giving the size of the party. Drinks may have been refreshed faster but only a small issue, once again with the demands of such a large party. Kudos to the service staff for a seamless experience. We would return.
