Dim sum is very good! Not only on the presentation, but also the taste. The price is slightly higher than average, but it definitely worth it. For those who live in the Golden Coast Hotel, you got 20% off too. The beach and shopping mall nearby is very relaxing, a very good place to leave the crowd in HK and enjoy a relaxing days in Golden Coast! Of course dont forget to have a good dim sum lunch!
The Michelin star has been taken this year. Frankly, it is more like a middle-level dim sum restaurant instead of a hotel one. Food is okay, but not something surprising good, with reasonable price. We ordered the so called signature fish soup noodles, but this is bit disappointed with plain flavour with the soup. Other dim sum are okay.
Gold Coast has long been a favorite place for weekend escapes from the urban jungle. The Chinese restaurant of Gold Coast Hotel offers an unparalleled vacation vibe. Food is the typical dim sum option with some creative picks. Everything is nice and mild in seasoning. Service is fine and price is surprisingly modest. Reservation is essential for a nice table.
The staff had no idea as to what the specials or promotions were. There was no personal touch with service and just seemed like they wanted you out of there.
