We literally stumbled across this little place on our first night in Lisbon, tired and not wanting to venture too far after a long journey. All the staff we encountered were super polite, chatting and friendly which really made the experience what it was, a delight. A tonne of food on offer, various meats and vegetables which was great (OK not the most amazing quality but everything else hit the mark and then some - the homemade dumplings were our highlight. Food for two, several alcoholic drinks can to less than 60 Euros, a real bargain. To conclude, a home away from home that anyone who's lived in and around China should make a beeline to.
Me and my husband were hungry so we decided to eat lunch here as a gay couple. Everything was going fine. Our waitress was so friendly and accepting, until the owner walked in. The owner didn’t notice us until a few minutes later after he walked into the dining area. He came up to us and called us the f slur multiple times and called us predators. Then, our “friendly and accepting” waitress threatened to call the cops on us because we were gay. This is just absolutely disgusting and awful. Nobody should have to deal with this.
