Dishes that look like meat but aren't meat. Amazing skill of the chef. The food was delicious. If you order too much food, you can get a case to take the food home with you.
This place was absolutely delicious and highly recommended for vegetarians visiting Beijing! Vegetarian food is very difficult to come across in Beijing so I ended up coming every day, which was not a problem as the menu was so large and delicious.
We were in the area and decided to try it. I am certainly not a vegetarian but if I had to be and the alternatives were this good, I could do it. The staff were pleasant and the ambiance was just so-so. The food was very decent and we would come back. My daughter and I did get sick afterwards, but I don’t know if I could attribute it to the food because my wife and son were okay. It might have been just a coincidence. Since I am not a vegetarian, I will not rush back to this restaurant but if I were, I’d be willing to ty it out again.
Really crappy service (first time in Beijing) that ruined our dining experience. Food was mediocre at best - We got some dim sum for lunch.
