Made in China is truly a dining gem in Beijing! Our experience here left us thoroughly impressed. Firstly, the service was top-notch. Our waitress was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain every aspect of the menu, making our choices even more enjoyable. Now, let's talk about the star of the show - the Peking duck roasted in the date wood oven. It was a culinary masterpiece, a true testament to the restaurant's dedication to excellence. While we dined as a small group of two, we regretted not being able to try more dishes. This is undoubtedly an incentive to return for another gastronomic adventure. Speaking of incentives, the dessert platter was not only delicious but also incredibly Instagram-worthy. It was the perfect sweet ending to our meal, leaving our taste buds and social media feeds delighted.
Best Beijing duck as they are one of the ten fireplace in built for roasting duck. Also the beggar chickens ( one day advance booking ) super awesome
I loved this place when I visited china long ago. So I'm here to say please visit if you get a chance. This restaurant is worth every $$$. I ate at four different Beijing Duck restaurants including a couple famous ones and Made in China outdid them all. I had half a duck, a side of greens and some chrysanthemum tea which was perfect. 10/10 recommend! They have excellent service and do speak English if you need that.
We are staying in the grand Hyatt hotel for a family vacation trip. We were too tired after visiting the GuGong to find another restaurant so we are at Made in China, the restaurant inside the hotel. We ordered seafood oil splashed noodles, stir fried lamb with leeks, MaPo Tofu. The food all tasted pretty good, my husband really liked the lamb dish. However, the service was just ok for a grand Hyatt restaurant. The tea we ordered came out slow, and there was no ice water served until we asked for it.
