Amazing dumplings and noodles! Menus have an English translation and pics of the dishes, even though some of the translations are questionable (Saliva Chicken) Great atmosphere and service!
Found out about this place through Google and came in for lunch. They have a cute backyard that you can sit in and an inside area. We ordered fried dumplings, salad and lamb skewers. Overall tasted good and decent but not mind blowing. Good place to eat but I wouldn’t crave to come back for it.
Ordered a medium steak and it took 45 minutes and 3 reminders to get it - turns out it was my fault! Gone way down hill since the solotel takeover...
A great dumpling spot for visitors to Beijing. It’s a bit of a hidden gem tucked into the side of a Hutong lane. But one you’re inside it feels like a charming mosh up of Beijing courtyard life meeting something of an alter ego of it owner - the eponymous Mr Shi. Traditional dumplings or his fusion version, no matter - it’s a fun feed and plenty of photo worthy moments that won’t break the bank. I’ve lived here for years and always go because I like the vibe and the food.
