My party of three had a very good dinner, along with great cocktails. The service was attentive as well. We really enjoy the terraza that seems common in Santiago restaurants, Siam Thai has a nice one in this respect.
I visited this restaurant almost 4 or 5 years ago and it was nice and cozy. I was happy to visit here again as lots of restaurants closed during the pandemic. There are much more choices in their menu than before, and the inside of the restaurant has been remodeled. I loved the tableware. Staff were nice and helpful. The restaurant was packed but all we ordered was served at the right time.
My husband and I stayed in Santiago for three nights post-cruise. During our international travels, we always seek out Thai food as it is one of our favorites. We found this gem of a place by chance as we had an evening flight, and decided to wander around the Italia neighborhood and find a place for a late lunch before going to the airport. We decided to sit inside as it was a bit humid that day. The restaurant itself is very nicely decorated, CLEAN, and the team of servers were very efficient, gracious and personable to us. Although I can speak enough Spanish to get by, we had a server who spoke to us in flawless English. We ordered an appetizer platter (it was HUGE and you could cut the chicken with a fork!). a curry dish to share, some bottled water, and a cold, draught beer. I have to say -- in ALL of our travels -- this restaurant served NEXT LEVEL Thai food! Everything was absolutely scrumptious! 10 OUT OF 10!!! This is one of those times where I wish I could "transport" this restaurant closer to home because I saw so MANY dishes being served to other customers that I would have loved to try. It seemed everyone in the restaurant was really enjoying the atmosphere, the AWESOME VIBE, and the DELICIOUS FOOD! If we ever return to Santiago, we will go back to this restaurant. Great city, by the way. Santiago is truly an enchanting city, and the people are very lovely. I hope you enjoy as much as we did.
Standard Thai restaurant. Service is good. Food is not really tasty but ok and quite generously served. Prices reasonable. Watch out most sitting is in the patio, meaning outside which might not be very comfortable depending on the weather ( this is the case of almost all restaurants in the area)
