i’ve been here a couple times with my family and the food is consistently high quality and delicious. my favourite thing on the menu is definitely the cheese toast, it’s so soft, warm, CHEESY, and indulgent. i definitely recommend getting it if you come, it’s the perfect way to start your meal. the beef wellington is also fantastic, it’s really well cooked and the crust was so buttery and flaky. the asparagus was soft and paired really well with the wellington. service was also great, as expected from a restaurant like this. this is a great restaurant to eat at if you’re celebrating something or looking for a formal night out !
After living in downtown for more than a decade I decided to have my first birthday with my wife and this old but gold steak house. There are traditions and finesse dripping down from its old British deemed walls. The menu is well put and expensive. Our waiter was fun and politely opinionated with our choices and made us feel comfortable although we where the last customers. A memorial night and delicious new york steak! 🥩
Un coup de cœur et une découverte à Vancouver! Non seulement le service est exceptionnel, la qualité de la nourriture est exemplaire. Nous y avons mangé des huîtres et des filets mignons accompagnés de légumes. La cuisson était parfaite et les légumes, diversifiés, colorés et cuit à la perfection. Belle sélection de vin pour accompagner le tout! Si vous avez envi d’un steak dans une ambiance feutrée, c’est l’endroit que vous devez visiter!
C est simple, dans ce genre d endroit, il faut prendre une viande grillée ! En France, impossible de trouver aussi bon... Les frites sont à la hauteur de la viande : juste topissimes. Très jolie carte des vins, nous avons été subjugués par un Painted Rock Sirah ( proposé également au verre). Service et cadre « old fashion » à souhait qui rajoute à l expérience !
