I came here for drinks once during happy hour and was very impressed with the drinks and the food on the happy hour menu. I recently came here for brunch and was blown away by the Havana bowl! This is one of the best food options I've had for brunch and I love going for brunch! The service was a bit slow, but we did manage to snag the last table so I'll just blame it on the weekend rush. Our server was very polite and warm. Will definitely be back again!
Three of us had a reservation for brunch at Sula Indian Restaurant except that their brunch offering was half of what was advertised on their website. So, we started walking south on Commercial drive and came across Havana. We knew they are popular so we decided to have brunch there. The Triple Cooked Fries and Tostones appealed to us. We also ordered Calle Ocho Salad, Chicken & Waffles, and Avocado Toast. I ordered no cheese on the salad and it had to be sent back because it came with cheese. The fries had too much salt, we would have to remember to order less salt next time. The Tostones were good but gets boring and is better shared. The micro sunflower sprouts was a nice touch on the avocado toast, the soft poached egg was perfectly sous vide. The other brunch items were OK, but not very exciting. The server was friendly and provided good service. The portions reflected the pricing.
Morgan it's the best of the finest best ! She did our experience wonderful ,we asked her for a Chilean drink ( Piscola ) and she nailed it. We sooooooo recommend her and the place was nice but her did our date night the best one !!!
Stopped in while strolling The Drive. Sat at the outdoor section for afternoon cocktails. Patient & informative server as we took quite some time to decide on drinks. Highly recommend Havana!
