December 2024 Great job giving parking credit to your dining customers. They accommodated us without reservation since we arrived before the peak hours. Also enjoyed the discount for early bird specials. Great dim sum indeed but a little pricy for the selection. Food quality at a premium indeed. Very quick service and fast pace wait staff. A lot of raving fans supporting this establishment. Maintain the gold standard and stay competitive is the key. My rating as 5 is very satisfied Taste 5/5 porridge is top notch Food temperature 5/5 Attentive and courteous 5/5 quick and efficient servers Cleanliness 5/5 Will I return? Not sure for a tourist since so many dim sum choices. However, good idea to taste and see what high quality looks like. Will I recommend? Great to try out to compare with others.
Delighted to find an exceptional Chinese restaurant downtown! Highlights included the fried crab balls, whole roast duck served two ways (Peking style and minced meat in lettuce wraps), and deep-fried crab with garlic, XO sauce, and stir-fried rice. Every dish was fresh and non-greasy. The polite and attentive staff provided excellent guidance on selecting a variety of dishes for our banquet. Although parking was a bit tricky to navigate, it was free—a nice added perk!
The food was standard Shanghai noodles. Very expensive ( over 30). We arrived 20 minutes before the kitchen closing for lunch. We were given the worst possible table. Next to door. Sandwiched between two bus / server stations. The staff attitude ranged from surly disdain to ignoring us. Had to ask three times for hot sauce. When I told host about horrible table she told me about future reservations. I explained how the restaurant was closing for two hours. My intuition, based on many decades of both working and going to restaurants, told me we weren't valued guests but a barely tolerated inconvenience and destruction from setting up for dinner.
service was excellent , offer validated parking underneath the restaurant which is a plus. Foods good for dim sum and some lunch item . Very busy place so must make a reservation in advance . If they provide on line reservation through yelp or open table it would be a plus. More convenient than calling .
