The Hotel delivered a superlative experience, seamlessly blending luxurious comfort with anticipatory service and a prime location. Our room had a spacious layout and meticulous attention to detail. The design seamlessly blended contemporary aesthetics with classic comfort. A particular highlight was the heated bathroom floor, a welcome touch of indulgence. Subtle touches, such as motion-activated floor lighting for nighttime bathroom visits, further enhanced the experience. The hotel staff, demonstrating remarkable attentiveness, even provided a child-sized bathrobe for our toddler, a gesture that elevated our stay from pleasant to truly memorable. Furthermore, the staff's impeccably tailored suits, reminiscent of classic English formality, underscores the Hotel's dedication to creating an atmosphere of sophisticated hospitality. Situated conveniently adjacent to both a shopping center and an art gallery, the hotel caters effortlessly to both leisure and cultural pursuits.
I stayed here for 6 nights. Overall the experience was good but lacking for a five star hotel. Positives * Housekeeping everyday * Towels, toiletries, soft product were high quality * Very responsive service. Had an issue with my toilet clogging and someone came up in 5 minutes. * Gym was nice and had new machines. Negatives * My room had frosted glass windows facing the courtyard, not much sunlight and no view (king deluxe room). * Difficult to get seating at the downstairs bar. I was told to wait at the couch area for 30 minutes with no updates. I found the service here mediocre. * Bathroom heated floors didn't work
I have been there in August 2024 and it will be great to be there again. The food is adequate to the high price, fine dining, elegant ambient, we spent a pleasant dinner and evening with my wife and daughter. It should be noted that they are not well prepared for gluten free meals. Fish plate was delicious. But I must say that the service is poor, too little knowledge and experience, although kind. In any case, it deserves.
My wife and I dropped in here today, around 1:00 pm, and were seated immediately. Cheryl, our server, was there right away to take initial orders and bring water (still or sparkling!). I had their "Hotel Georgia" cocktail, while my wife went with a glass of wine. She wasn't able to decide between two...a problem that Cheryl solved by bringing out samples of both. The "Hotel Georgia" cocktail was simply fabulous...and it FELT like drinking history! We ordered a charcuterie board, then each had a pizza (Antipasti Pizza for her, Pizza Chorizo for me). Something went a little sideways in the kitchen, and the charcuterie board was very slow to arrive...a manager came to our table to apologize. When it did arrive, it was excellent, and very large! The pizzas were likewise great. We weren't driving, so we enjoyed a few more glasses of wine and soaked in the ambience of the beautiful and historic lobby. Cheryl was an absolute delight, and we will absolutely be back!
