From the moment we started arranging things, until the moment we left the restaurant, Catalina was nothing but a great event manager and host, she made sure that all questions were answered, and we’re taken care of and looked after at all times. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with a lively and welcoming atmosphere that perfectly complements the rich culinary journey that awaits. The food is outstanding, every dish bursts with authentic Laotian flavors, crafted with fresh ingredients and a masterful touch. Their signature dishes, like curries and fish steamed in banana leaves, are an absolute must-try, and the spice levels are just right to awaken your taste buds. The service is top-notch—friendly, attentive, and always happy to share recommendations or a bit about the culture and ingredients behind the dishes. Love this restaurant. The flavours of each dish are perfectly curated. Fresh, flavourful and perfectly balanced. Our waitress was so kind and provided excellent service. Always warning us about the chillies in each dish. Two dishes that stood out were the tapioca dumplings and the beef salad. Each dish was so herbaceous and pleasing to eat. Every bite made me wanting more!
I ordered the pad thai with shrimp for take out, there were only 4 shrimps and very little noodles for $30.00!!!! , of course I did not realise this until I reached home. I was absolutely gutted, i was looking forward to enjoying the meal but i was so disappointed at the end. Ridiculous and over priced!!
Lovely ambience. Superb food. Great vegetarian options. Waitress was excellent. Everything is terrific except for one big problem: noise. Very hard to converse. You must nearly yell at your dining partner. If you were at a table for more than 2, it would be increasingly impossible to communicate. The yelling diners drown out the music. Might it help to not have music? If there were no music, then the diners might not have to speak so loudly. Were it not for the painful noise level, I would have given this establishment a strong 5 star rating.
