Once we walked in this place, the decors reminds me of Havana. I was expecting the traditional Cuban food, however, the food was over my expectations!!! By talking to the server, their chef infused Canadian cuisine with Cuban cuisine, which makes it even more delicious. We ordered the rice plates with pork belly and roasted short ribs, both are delicious! And the portion is big enough to feed a hungry soul! Would recommend to all my friends:)
For whatever reason (likely because of reviewer’s fatigue😌) I held off writing something for La Cubana. For a couple years now I’ve been wanting to try cuban food and this place was the perfect opportunity to do so. The thing that is most important for me to point out was the fantastic service, waiters were extremely attentive and nice. Other than that, the restaurant is designed well, and is at a great location. The food was tasty, simple and would resonate with anyone. I recommend coming!
Petit restaurant cubain sympathique avec plusieurs choix de salades, médianoches, sandwichs et accompagnement divers de qualité. La serveuse a pris le temps de nous expliquer ce qu'on ne connaissait pas sur la carte. Service rapide. Le moins: quand on est arrivé et qu'on a attendu qu'on nous place, plusieurs serveuses sont passées devant nous en nous ignorant, pas très agréable comme accueil... Pas d'effort dur la déco. Je recommande quand même parce qu'on y a bien mangé.
