STK Steakhouse

For my birthday celebration, I decided to visit STK Steakhouse in Yorkville. Upon arrival, we were greeted downstairs by a lady who confirmed our reservations and directed us to another lady upstairs. After a brief wait, someone took us to our table, adding a touch of fanciness to the start of our evening. Our server introduced himself with a pleasant demeanor, enhancing our dining experience right from the get-go. Bread was served, though it wasn't gluten-free, so I skipped it and went ahead with ordering a glass of Merlot. For the main course, I ordered a filet medium well with prawns. I was a bit disappointed with the presentation—it seemed like it was just thrown on the plate. Unfortunately, the steak was slightly overcooked, and the shrimp was dry, even though I had specified not to dry it out. The server did offer to have it remade, but I declined. Due to a time limit at the tables on Saturdays, our orders weren't taken until the fourth member of our party arrived. Despite some hiccups, the beef was well-cooked and quite satisfying, which my daughter especially enjoyed. The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the candle they brought over for my birthday, which was very impressive, as well as the cake and sorbet—both added a wonderful touch to the celebration. Overall, while there were some areas for improvement, the evening was memorable, thanks in part to the ambiance and the attentive service. Oh the ambience was really impressive inside , its a place I would be visiting on a regular basis if I lived downtown.

my boyfriend & i went here on Valentines day in 2023 and the steak was absolutely delicious + perfectly the service was equally impressive; the staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. it was a fantastic dining experience all around :) our first time being here and we’d love to come again

Certes la déco est très « branchée » et originale, mais par contre c’est hyper cher pour ce que c’est ! Peut être , en Europe nous ne sommes pas habitués aux tarifs des steak house … Pour revenir au repas , gâteau de crabe en entrée très bon, ensuite viande correcte mais pas non plus exceptionnelle ( à ces tarifs une bonne Salers ou Galice maturée me font plus vibrer ) et un fish and chips « stardard » Comme c’est une chaîne américaine très peu de vins locaux , l’Ontario était quand même le lieu au Canada, dommage !

WoW mais quelle soirée!!! Superbes Cocktails au bar en attente de notre table; mixologie au rdv. Clientèle & ambiance agréable. Un souper tout simplement remarquable; la qualité de la viande et de la carte des vins vous enchanteront!!! STK!!!
