My partner was excited to book this for her birthday, but due to a glitch, she booked the wrong day and was charged $50 by the restaurant for her mistake. We tried to call and reason with them (we still planned on dining there for the birthday!) but they wouldn’t take no for an answer, and kept their fee. We kept our word and ended up dining at Dreyfus for her birthday, and the food was nice, but the experience left a really sour taste in our mouths. Make sure you triple check your reservations here, as they do not mess around.

Outstanding meal. One of the best we have had. The execution and the bold flavors were impeccable. So much care and consideration was put into every aspect of the meal. We sat at the bar and had Marion walk us through the creative process. Their passion stands out. Highly recommend. A must go in Toronto. We will be back.

The food and ambience were lovely. The service was good but we felt table pressure. Orders taken quickly, drinks and food arrived with little time in between. Bill presented without asking as soon as we declined desert. Our coats were brought to us right away without asking. I checked- total time in the restaurant was 1 hrs 23 minutes.

My husband and I went with our daughter to Dreyfus, a restaurant in Harbord Village, to celebrate our daughter's birthday. Dreyfus is a top Toronto French Michelin Guide Restaurant. Shanki was our server and she was absolutely delightful. We had lots of very delicious sharing dishes; Latke, Cromesquis, Tuna, Ploughman's and Pork Chop. For drinks, my husband and daughter started with a glass of Olmeca Altos Plata tequila. Then my husband had a glass of JM Dreyer Pinot Gris and my daughter had a glass of Peter Wetzer Soproni Pinot Noir. Total bill, before tip, was $211. We were really happy with the location of our table - it was in the front window so it was really private!
