Beautiful restaurant! Finally get to visit on a Friday lunch. The interior design is amazing - very photogenic! The vibes is nice. Most importantly, their food is pretty good too! The break & butter is amazing - mix warm bread with honey butter! 10/10! I got seafood pasta for main - looks good and tastes even better! My friend got a burger and you can choose medium or medium rare!! It’s a bit pricey but considering the atmosphere and food quality, I will visit again. Their service is great too! They can help check in your coat and check in multiple times to make sure you’re happy with your meal.
Dinner at Daphne was incredible. The food, service, and atmosphere were all top tier. The standouts for us were the bread and butter and the branzino. Rib eye was perfectly done. Steak tartare, tempura squash and truffle fries were all excellent. We had the fried olives which were alright but would probably skip them in the future. For dessert we had the lemon meringue cake which was very light and a nice portion to share after such a large meal. We will definitely be back
La buvette Daphnée a ouvert ses portes il y a à peine trois semaines. Nous y sommes rendus le 12 septembre 2023 pour célébrer un anniversaire de naissance. Nous n'avons pas été déçus. Au contraire, Daphnée deviendra un de nos choix fréquents. Les mets sont tous de petits plats à partager. En fait, nous n'avions pas de grosse assiette devant nous, mais plutôt une petite dans laquelle nous placions les ingrédients servis au centre de la table. Anne, notre serveuse ukrainienne, était très compétente et agréable. Elle a contribué à notre appréciation de l'endroit, tout comme Nicolas, notre sommelier qui nous a proposé un excellent sauvignon blanc californien. Nous avions choisi leur équivalent d'un menu dégustation, ce qui nous a permis d'essayer leurs offres. Le resto ne fait que commencer, mais je suis convaincu que les réservations du samedi soir se feront rares très bientôt. En d'autres mots, n'oubliez pas de réserver.
