We booked this dinner months in advance. We selected the chef’s tasting menu with wine pairings. Each dish exceeded expectations in taste, texture and presentation. Our server, Gabriel, also was able to work with us in English - which was so nice and appreciated. Although we were seated next to the door & it had mechanical issues resulting in a breeze, this little Canadian didn’t mind the fresh air. Thanks again. We will be back.
Knowing the previous enterprises of the owners, we knew it would be good. But we were not expecting to be blown away so much! We went for the tasting menu with the wine pairings. Besides a series of super delicate and innovative dishes, with very good (Brazilian) wine matches and a smooth complimentary cachaça, the whole thing culminates with a rich full-blown meal of something like “feijão tropeiro”, a classic of the country culinary. Amazing taste in the dishes (some pics below), creative matches for the wines, and an amazing experience. Yes, it’s expensive, and hard to book, but worth every cent. Can’t wait to visit it again in my next trip to Brazil!
