Great seafood restaurant. It's not located in a tourist side, but you should go if you have the chance.
Great for eating sea food.
We have been trying food all over in Porto de galinhas but not succeeding until we found maracaju about 4k from where we are staying. The food was fantastic,first place in recife that the fish wasn't overcooked. We got 3 dishes in between the 2 of us just for tasting. We had prawns a parmigiana, grilled fish and chicken fricasse. All fantastic and i am glad i went for this walk ;) Plus we saw a builtiful monkey :) Staff 5 stars fron Flavio,Ezequiel e Jaqueline. Roisin and Rob
Our family of 7 had dinner at Maracaju, and the food was really very good. The atmosphere is very peaceful amongst a garden of plants, trees, and flowers. All of us were pleased with our dishes, and the service was fantastic. This is definitely a gem of a restaurant and worth visiting away from the hustle and bustle of the downtown Porto de Galinhas.
