The food was the lowlight of this restaurant - extremely underwhelming. I am unsure why they have so many great reviews. The meal wasn’t well seasoned, even the accompanying sauce tasted like water and oil. I ordered the surf and turf as my main. What a joke. Three tiny looking overcooked prawns with dried out slices of pork, and dry rice. I expected better from a well rated establishment especially considering the prices. Service was good.
Underwhelming food. I don’t understand the hype. The meal wasn’t well seasoned, even the accompanying sauce tasted like water and oil. I ordered the surf and turf as my main. What a joke. Went with a friend who works in Angola. The entire package of impeccable service, ambience, great food and even a fancy restrooms was a delight. Ordered fried calamari pieces as appetizer and grilled prawns with frites for the main course. This went well with the local favourites of Cuca and Eka beers (also found it unique to have 250ml small beers poured in almost chilled champagne glasses. A must recommended place if you are in Luanda. No ifs or butts…
