Upon our arrival in Andorra, we found the perfect haven for our hunger at Fat Albert, a cozy restaurant specializing in meats. At the end of a tiring afternoon, the choice couldn’t have been better. We opted for chicken fingers with spicy sauce, a hit choice. The truly spicy sauce perfectly complemented the crispy fingers. Our dinner included a juicy steak and a delicately prepared escalope. Both dishes were divine, exceeding our expectations. The cold draft beer was the ideal accompaniment for the meal. Moreover, the attentive and friendly staff service added a special touch to our experience. Fat Albert stands out for its cozy atmosphere. With a charming bistro on the lower floor for quiet dinners and a lively space upstairs with live music, the place is perfect for unwinding after a day in the mountains. The music, focused on rock from the 80s and 90s, creates a vibrant atmosphere, attracting a family-oriented and 35+ crowd.
We stumbled across this place as it was close to our hotel. What a brilliant find. We managed to have 2 dinners there during our week of skiing. I could have happily eaten there every evening. Great choice on the menu, both food and drinks and reasonable prices. The staff were all so friendly and welcoming. It was busy both the nights we went (half term) so I’d say booking essential at peak times. We saw lots of people turned away as there wasn’t one spare table. Great atmosphere in the restaurant and bar, live music on one of the nights we were there. Really couldn’t fault anything after a long day on the slopes. Perfect comfort food and massive portions. Top tip, if you want room for dessert (which were excellent) go easy on the appetisers, they were huge!
We could see and hear this bar from our hotel room so had to take a look and so glad we did. This bar made our week. Great music and atmosphere. The only downside was the drinks were a little expensive and a different price depending which member of staff served us. Around 7 euros for a pint and 8.50 for a short. It was worth paying for to enjoy the music. We booked the all you can eat chicken and ribs night for 20 euros each and enjoyed it. There were large stacks of ribs, chicken wings, salad, fries etc The music provided by The Shambles, Missing digit, and John was fantastic without being too serious. We had a great laugh and it was good to see people getting involved singing and dancing.
