This was our first time in Ginza 41 and I can say with an absolute certainty that this is a must visit whenever you are in Andorra. We didn’t have a reservation and nevertheless the lovely staff squeezed us in. Very appreciate their recommendations in both food and cocktails! They know what they are doing! We had a variety of different dishes and one was better that the other. As the evening progressed, the place was getting busy but they managed it with the top professional level. Highly recommend and will definitely be coming back with a reservation next time!
I went without a reservation, but there just happened to be an empty seat, so I was able to get in, but I recommend make a reservation. It was almost the last order, so the food came out relatively quickly. And You can drink Japanese draft beer. The sushi rice were small, but they were fresh and delicious. The yakitori was also delicious than I expected, but the sauce was a little .Next time I would like to enjoy eat more slowly.
The service was average and lacking in any interest. The miso soup was worst I have had, filled with seaweed that overwhelmed the dish, about 20 pieces in one small bowl. Tempura batter was very thin and all the veggies were clumped together. The Sashimi had undercooked rice and super tough seaweed layer. I love seaweed but this is not correct. Sashimi pieces were huge. Dumplings just said meat, so not sure if chicken, duck, or pork... they were fried and may have been a frozen product Spicy edaname beans had a store bough sauce drizzled on top. No choice of wine by the glass. Not authentic Japanese food. But interior design is great.
First of all our server was clueless and took a hot minute to take our order. Then we ordered a wakame salad and honestly the actual wakame part of the dish was minuscule. We also ordered some “tacos” (kyu-tuna) and the sauce tasted like some off brand whisky. Finally we ordered two main dishes, the Yakimeshi and the yakuidon. The rice in the yakimeshi wasn’t cooked properly, tasted like if you took some grains straight out of the bag and you put them with the other ingredients. Honestly we were expecting a lot more from this restaurant and we heavily disappointed. We will not come back thank you for your service and do better next time! 😘
