Ok place with a very nice ambience and decor. We went for lunch while in Andorra for a day. Overall pretty good, but the service was very slow, out of the season and with the place half empty. We waited quite a bit for the food and later for the check. The food for a bar was ok, the pizzas were great, the ribs came cold. The potatoes really good, seemed like they were made fresh. Later on we went to the slope nearby and we saw the advertisements of the place everywhere. I would expect a bit more from all the adds. If you wanna spend some quality time and are willing to wait it would be the spot. What is worth to mention it is a pet-friendly place! As soon as we walked in with a little dog they gave us a bowl of water. Also clean bathrooms.
Wonderful spot (pun intended) for casual food & drinks, reminds me of an American Restaurant, however the quality of food is French. Service is good, friendly and fast. From Nachos to Raclette you can find anything on the pretty large food menu. There is also a great selection of coctails very reasonably priced and very well made. Food prices are also french, range from 12€ to18€ per standard plate. I would definitely recommend this place anytime of day and night as it is open most of the day specially in high season. Terrace is nice with Sun most of lunch time, so great place as Apre-ski. Recomend to reserve as it can get crowded. Do not doubt stopping by, you will have a good time, parking by the street and plenty of it. Only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is the wine list, even though wines are good, the list is very short and on the high price for what they are. Not the best place for wine lovers, hope they fix that to get the 5 stars.
I was several times this year at the Commencal Spot, for lunches, dinners or just a quick refreshing drink. The staff is super friendly and fast. With sunny weather you can sit under the open roof or if you are lucky enough and there is a world up race, you can sit inside and watch it live on multiple TVs. The food is great, nice different plates of comfy food with a great touch. Tip, try the Authors Commencal Spot Burger.
If chef can’t even make peperoni pizza without burning it there is no point to try anything else. Hey commencal do not use your bike mechanics/engineers in the kitchen
