A magnificent place with nice decor. We ordered snails as a side dish, grilled duck breast and lamb ribs. Everything was delicious. Especially sauce served with snails was fantastic. The place is very atmospheric
Terrible cesar salad. The salad was ok, but the chicken was re-heated nuggets that were brown and dry in the center.
The flavor of the food is amazing. However the customer experience is terrible because the waitress could not do her job. She brought all dishes at the same time. We had to wait for the cutlery for a long time and food was cold. It is mandatory that they change their service.
I have in fact visited this restaurant several times now but my latest visit was my most favourite. It is a typical Catalan restaurant with quite an extensive à la carte menu but also a fixed price menu if you want to keep the bill down. The owner does some really nice little touches. One of his "appetizers" is half an avocado with the flesh removed, then with diced crab added and mayonnaise and onoin and I suspect one or two secret ingredients and all popped back into the avocado skin. It is absolutley delicious. One of the starters available is steak tartare. This is also absolutely delicious. Couple these things with the usual local ham, tomato bread and then a full range of meats and fish. His steak comes from various places, but not least the UK! He has a good selection of wines as well and at the end is able to produce a bottle of port as well. The decor is quite pleasant too; it is not a huge restaurant. Sometimes is has been very quiet but on this occasion was almost full. I thoroughly recommend it.
