This is the best place I have eaten in years! The food is a work of art! The salad was decorated with the vinegarette so that the perfect ratio was achieved. The carpaccio was excellent a beatiful as well. For the mains we had the roasted veal in a mushroom sauce and my husband had trout. Again, both were served as works of art. The taste was extraordinary! The veal melted in my mouth! The mushroom sauce used several varieties of mushrooms and completented the veal perfectly. My husband kept moaning with pleasure as he ate his trout, so it must have been just as wonderful. Additionally, this is a restaurant that requires reservations, but they were super kind to squeeze us into the last possible table. We came before most others, so the staffkindly answered my hindred and one questions. This place is just extraordinary!
First, trying to find this place via Google maps was enough to make a person crazy. That being said, we persevered. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and have a lovely indoor fireplace where they cook/heat up food and bread. The food unfortunately, wasn't what we expected. Our app was ox carpaccio and did get a seal of approval. My partner had rabbit, which he found slightly dry. I ordered escargots and found them over cooked, chewy and extremely salty. These come in a try, 30 to 40 but I could barely manage 5. Trying to give the benefit of the doubt here, I'd arrived from France where their escargots are plump and flavourful.
My favorite restaurant in AD. Excellent qa/price relation. I Bring everyone here. Love the onion soup and and the grilled meets there.
The place is very nice as well as the service. The vegan options are poor. They offered me the only option that was a risotto but it wasn’t good.
