Long wait for a very burnt pizza, tasteless pasta and dry focaccia. Staff looked bored and disinterested in their full restaurant. No extra care just dumping the plates on the table without any communication. When we pointed out the pizza was burnt and shouldn’t have been served they just shrugged their shoulders. We had waited so long we couldn’t be bothered to ask for a new one. Avoid this place!
Very good pizza here. Also tried the risotto that had a good taste and consistency. Helpful staff. If you can, book in advance because there is not any better around if this place is busy.
Wonderful meal filled with interesting variations on traditional Italian recipes. The fiori with smoky cheese was a delicious starter and the mortadella ravioli was an unusual combination of flavors that worked perfectly. Can highly recommend our two secondi: the duck and the branzino. Superb.
I had gone for a business dinner at Trattoria San Pietro and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. As porcini mushrooms are in season, I had the porcini with scallopine, porcini with tagliatelle and porcini simply as a starter. The wine we chose for the meal was an excellent Langrin. The restaurant is an old style and refined space which was clearly very popular on a Thursday evening.
