Very busy the evening we visited but this may have been because of event nearby. However bar staff are brilliant and we didn't wait more than a moment to get a drink. Level of noise was quite high though.probably not the place for a quiet drink and conversation.
Perfect location for a well deserved bevy after a big day on the slopes!
A short drive from Athlone and well worth it. Busy pub with varied dishes and blackboard specials. Maybe not as much seafood as I had expected but still something for everyone. The Fjord mussels were delicious though. As I was driving I tried the 0% red wine but not a success. Will stick to soft drinks in the future.
We had the most amazing night in The Villager. Fabulous decor, the place was spotless. We were a group of 6 & from the moment we arrived We were so well looked after. Service , food & ambience was faultless. Well definitely be back
