Everyone was really friendly and the rooms were very clean, the hotel is much nicer than we had expected, the drinks were a good price and a good portion too. The shower was great, hot and powerful, and the continental breakfast was good too. I would be happy to recommend this place and happy to return to it.
My son and I have just had five comfy nights here. Yes, it’s well used and shows some signs of wear and tear (by skiers - like us), but was everything we needed. Brilliant location, 1 minute to the cable car station. Brilliant friendly staff and always helpful. There’s a popular locals bar which we enjoyed a couple of times, who are very welcoming and happy to chat. Breakfast was a good selection of continental pastries, cereals, meats and cheese, which set us up for the day. Bring a small padlock if you wish to use their free ski locker, or they’ll hire you one for a refundable €5. A really enjoyable stay. Thank you, definitely will be returning.
We were here in January 2019, the food and staff were excellent. We had 2 types of fondue with beers and wine. It was amazeballs. Sadly though, we popped in Monday and yesterday and only the bar was open, no restaurant. We were really looking forward to dining here again 😪
We we're a very large group at the beginning or March. The food was great, but the ordering was a shambles! The other half didn't get a main course! However the staff made up for this by not charging for wrong orders, also providing delicious free bread and meats etc whilst waiting. Also the food portions were hearty and we loved seeing the cook, come out and use the open fire for the meats! This is a place with character and great staff, i'd still highly recommend it!
