Lovely spot with fresh sushi. I would recommend the crispy Brussels sprouts, edamame was listed as “spicy” but seasoning didn’t taste like anything. Sushi was great, ambiance is lovely. I would try again!
Now don’t get me wrong this is one of the best places I’ve seen in DC to eat sushi! It’s very good and the atmosphere is great. Staff is really helpful when choosing however my order took a very long time to arrive. This might just be a personal experience so I’m not saying it’s the case for everyone. However of it is it’d be awesome as the final step to perfection to be slightly quicker and more fast paced when taking orders. Otherwise this place is really just great
I had a bento box lunch, and shared sushi-combo, and then, had ce cream for dessert. I did not feel the fish on the top of sushi are as fresh as I usually find at other authentic Japanese restaurants at this price level. Rice used for sushi was not in good taste and quality, too hard.
The sushi was good and the tea as well but the service was slow. We are tourists so we had brought cash to pay and the employee refused it and asked us to pay by card. That was a turn off.
