Stumbled across this restaurant by chance while driving around Blackpool with my wife and two grandchildren looking for somewhere decent to eat. Past many places to eat but did not want a fry up?. When looking in the Istanbul and Kabul from the outside it does not represent the quality of food served, no frills however the seating is comfortable and the restaurant clean. Being a Turkish and African ( Afghanistan) restaurant all the meats are cooked fresh in sight of the customers. Was very impressed with all the food served, especially the rice which the chef told me he cooked himself and was North African style. Would recommend the restaurant to anyone who is looking for quality, very generous portions of fresh meats, excellent flavour at a very fair price and friendly. If you like the taste of barbeque meats, then this is the place to go, you definitely wont be disappointed. I wish it was based in my home town, Liverpool.
